Our purpose is to provide each child the opportunity for a safe, Christian, educational environment during the early childhood years to assist in their physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development. We also strive to be of service to the community and meet the needs of families by offering various week-day services for children in 5th grade and younger.
Central Early Learning Center is a Quality Start facility, proudly serving the Central community for 35 years. When established in 1985, Central Academy & Child Care addressed the need for quality childcare in the Central community. With our mission in mind, our programs provide a learning experience, focused on early childhood development. ABeka and Frogstreet curriculums are utilized to encourage growth and exploration. We offer before & after school care, holiday care and summer camp for kindergarten through 5th grade students enrolled in the Central Community School System.
All employees are thoroughly screened before being hired. A state and federal background check is also performed on each staff member before they can start. We require each staff member to complete 12 or more hours of early childhood training each year. Additionally, they receive Health and Safety training annually, and are certified in CPR/First Aid/AED for adults and pediatrics.
